Storyboard
Purpose
One of the key components of Instructional Design is being able to create assessments that can effectively measure the learner. For a job interview I was tasked with creating an assessment based on an article that was presented. I chose to create a story and base my questions on a scenario based from the story. I believe people are able to understand concepts better when they are able to apply it to real world scenarios.
Process
The process I used to create the storyboard was:
- Read the article provided multiple times to get an understanding of the material.
- I wrote a script to create the story and base the assessment questions off of an ongoing scenario.
- Used the script to create the assessment in Storyline.
